Privacy Policy
Everything you share with me is confidential. I don’t sell it, I don’t trade it, and I only use it to do the work you ask for.
Effective September 12, 2026
1. The short version
This policy covers this website and any work I do for you as a client. The principles are the same for both:
- Everything you share with me is treated as confidential, automatically, from the first conversation on.
- I never sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for any reason.
- I only use what you give me for the reasonable purpose of providing the services you requested.
2. Who this applies to
syndek is an independent creative studio run by one person. There is no marketing department, no data team and no list of partners. When you deal with this site or with me, you deal with the person who wrote this page.
3. What I collect, and why
On this website. If you use the contact form, I keep the name, email address and message you enter so that I can reply. The IP address and browser type of the request are stored with it to help me filter spam. Beyond that, the site uses a single cookie carries no personal information and expires when you close your browser. There are no advertising cookies and no third-party scripts.
As a client. Doing creative work means you will share things with me: briefs, business plans, unreleased products, brand material, internal documents, financial details, personal preferences, and the content of our conversations. I collect only what is needed to do the job well, and I use it only for that job.
4. Confidentiality
All information you share with me is confidential by default. That includes:
- every conversation, whether by email, phone, video call, message or in person;
- every meeting, including anything discussed informally around it;
- every file, draft, sketch, document and piece of feedback exchanged during a project;
- the fact that we are working together, if you would rather that stayed private.
You do not have to ask for confidentiality or sign anything to get it. It applies automatically. If you require a separate non-disclosure agreement signed for your own records, well too bad, I don't do those anymore.
Finished work only appears in my portfolio, on this site or elsewhere, with your explicit permission, and never before you have launched it yourself.
5. No selling, no sharing
I do not sell your information. I do not rent it, trade it, swap it, or hand it to advertisers, data brokers, marketing lists or “partners”. This is not a preference that might change with a new business model; it is how the studio works.
The only time information leaves my hands is when it is genuinely needed to deliver the service you asked for, and only as much as is needed. For example, sending final files to a printer you have chosen, or giving a developer you have hired access to the design files. I will tell you when this is the case, and I will not do it if you say no.
I will also disclose information if I am legally required to, for instance by a court order. If that ever happens I will tell you, unless the law prevents me from doing so.
6. How long I keep things
Messages sent through the contact form are kept until they have been answered and are no longer needed, and are then deleted. Project files and correspondence are kept for as long as is reasonable to support the work, answer follow-up questions and meet accounting obligations. If you ask me to delete your material sooner, I will, apart from anything I am legally required to retain.
7. Keeping it safe
Your information is stored on equipment and accounts that only I have access to, protected by strong passwords and, where available, two-factor authentication. Sensitive files are not left on shared or public services. No system is perfectly secure, but I treat your material with the same care I would want for my own.
8. Your rights
You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also withdraw permission for anything you previously agreed to, such as showing your project in my portfolio. Write to hello@syndek.com and I will respond promptly. There is no form to fill in and no fee.
9. Children
This site and my services are aimed at businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent me information, let me know and I will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, I will update this page and the date at the top. The commitments in section 1 will not weaken; if anything changes, it will be to explain things more clearly.
11. Contact
